SUMMARY:Asombro Institute for Science Education's Art in the Park (Community Event)
DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, April 11 9:00am-11:00am\nCome celebrate art and nature with Asombro at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park during this free event. Hands-on\, family friendly activities and demonstrations will showcase local artists from ArtForms\, the Las Cruces Arts Association\, the New Mexico Watercolor Society\, and Asombro. Booths will be located near the upper parking lot at the Park. \nA ribbon cutting ceremony will occur during the event at 10 AM to celebrate the official opening of the new 75-seat amphitheater as well as the surrounding permanent art installations. \n
