Just in time for Outdoor Learning Week and National Public Lands Day, the fall edition of the Outdoor Learning Symposium will showcase outdoor classrooms and curricula in action! Everyone is welcome to join EENM and the Conservation Science Center at New Mexico Highlands University for this exciting event.

September 29: Session 2 – Standards-Aligned Outdoor Learning Curricula

During Session 1, inspiring educators from across the state will discuss their design and build processes and teaching strategies for outdoor classrooms. Session 2 features speakers from New Mexico outdoor and environmental education groups highlighting ways to implement activities from locally designed, standards-aligned curricula that can be facilitated in the schoolyard, outdoor classroom, or out in the field.
