Environmental Literacy Club
May 23, 2018 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Join EEANM for our second Environmental Literacy Club of 2018! We will be meeting the evening of Wednesday, May 23rd, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at The Range Cafe on Menaul in Albuquerque. This session will center around the theme of technology and screen time in environmental education – does it help kids, hurt kids, or something in between? We’ll be discussing:
1. The research article, “Bridging the Gap: Meeting the Needs of
Early Childhood Students by Integrating Technology and
Environmental Education” (http://naturalstart.org/
2. The NPR article, “Kids and Screen Time: What Does the Research Say?” (https://www.npr.org/
