Ongoing Learning for NM STEM Ready! Standards

Environmental Education of New Mexico has been providing NM STEM Ready! Standards workshops since 2018 for formal and informal educators K-12th grade across the Land of Enchantment. In 2018, EENM partnered with the New Mexico Informal Science Educators Network to support two-day trainings at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science (two workshops total). In 2019, EENM partnered with the USDA Forest Service – Southwestern Region to offer a two-day workshop in Taos at the Carson National Forest Supervisor’s Office. In 2020, EENM continued partnering with the USDA Forest Service in offering four-day virtual trainings in May and June during the COVID-19 global pandemic (four workshops total). To date, EENM has not been able to meet the demand for workshops and continues to explore ways for broader support. This page is to provide ongoing support for continued learning for those who have already participated in one of our workshops.
