Do you have a passion for immersive outdoor education and helping New Mexicans gain access to high quality, engaging, and meaningful environmental education opportunities? Environmental Education New Mexico (EENM) is seeking a forward-thinking collaborator in a part-time contract position to progress EENM’s mission is to ensure every NM child has equitable access to environmental and outdoor learning through implementing an advocacy-focused movement as well as advancing collaboration and leadership.

EENM seeks to recruit a contractor who values working collaboratively with a board and is driven and self-motivated. This part-time position will support strategies to grow the organization, expand donors and membership, diversify and strengthen the organization’s revenue streams, and assist with daily operational needs. This position will manage communications with donors and partners, represent EENM in statewide events, and research and apply for grant opportunities that align with EENM’s mission. This position will also help with maintaining the organization’s operations, including maintaining its website and social media presence, answering emails, preparing reports for monthly board meetings, and managing a budget of expenses in coordination with the board. Currently, this position is offered as a one-year contract with the potential to be extended. The contractor will work approximately 20 hours weekly, and is remote-eligible but candidates in the Albuquerque area will be given preference.
