In collaboration with the STEM Innovation Network, EENM is recruiting 15 math teachers from grades 6-12 for a 7-month PD opportunity and accompanying $500 stipend.
Teachers in the cohort will receive training and support to help them teach high-quality, safe, and standards-aligned math lessons in the outdoors.
Here are some more details:
- Applications are due October 19, application link is here.
- Teachers with any amount of experience in outdoor learning are welcome.
- Most cohort meetings will be virtual, with one in-person workshop taking place in January. Travel stipends provided.
- This cohort will only serve Southern New Mexico math teachers working with grades 6-12.
