EXAMPLE PROJECTS

The below projects would be eligible to receive funding from this grant.

Project 1 – Garden Internships

Title I school hosted four garden interns for four hours a week over the summer. Grant funding provided stipends for interns so that they could learn basic gardening skills and knowledge and purchase clothes and school supplies for the upcoming year.

Project 2 – Summer Camping Trip

Organization took middle school girls on a week-long camping trip to learn about public lands, wildlife, and survival skills. Funding was used for camping supplies, food, transportation, and other costs associated with the program.
