As we brace for the spring winds and teeter between warm days that draw us out to the garden and chilly days with snow dustings, we at EEANM are gearing up for a season full of opportunities designed to inspire.
Please mark your calendars for New Mexico’s Statewide Environmental Literacy Summit on November 9 and 10, 2017.
For the first time, we will be meeting for two days to dig in deeper and explore opportunities for collective impact.
Our Planning Committee is in the early stages of planning. We can promise that we are looking at rich experiences exploring ways to demonstrate the necessity of environmental education to decision makers including funders; finding ways to better address diversity, equity and inclusion; and measuring impact in programs.
Although we will be doing serious work, I can promise plenty of time for being out-of-doors, catching up with old friends while making some new ones, and engaging in some artistic expression.
